Camp at Sri Lanka's Tallest Waterfall
- Distance : 4 km
- Difficulty : Easy
Bambarakanda Falls, located in the Badulla District of Sri Lanka, is the tallest waterfall in the country, with a height of 263 meters (863 feet). Nestled within the lush greenery of the central highlands, it is a breathtaking natural attraction surrounded by picturesque landscapes and rolling hills. Fed by a tributary of the Walawe River, Bambarakanda Falls cascades down a steep rock face, creating a misty spray at its base. The waterfall is particularly stunning during the monsoon season, when the water flow is at its peak. However, even during drier months, its serene beauty and tranquil setting make it a popular destination for nature lovers and adventurers alike.
