Maragala

Pepper Hikes

Chase the mist, conquer the mountain

Gerandi Ella is a stunning waterfall known for its captivating beauty and serene surroundings. Located in the Badulla District, this relatively lesser-known natural wonder is often referred to as the “Spider Falls” due to its unique cascading shape resembling a spider’s web.
Standing tall and majestic, Gerandi Ella offers a tranquil escape for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. The hike to the waterfall is an experience in itself, leading through scenic landscapes and vibrant flora. While not as frequented as some of Sri Lanka’s other waterfalls, its unspoiled charm makes it a must-visit if you are looking to explore off-the-beaten-path destinations.
